Community Service
Than Meyer chairs our Community Service Committee. The Seacoast Rotary Club utilizes this avenue of service to improve life in our local community through various club projects. Seasonal outdoor cleanups and helping with community maintenance projects such as painting, light carpentry, landscaping and more are all opportunities to give back to the community in which we live and work. We also volunteer our time to local charities - helping them staff fundraisers.
In 2018 & 2019, the Seacoast Rotary Club volunteered with several events, races and clean ups:
- Pack and Boots 5K local road race to support our Veterans, Portsmouth
- Touch a Truck, Portsmouth Int’l Airport, Pease
- Fall clean up at the Richie McFarland Center, Stratham
- Take your Kid Mountain Biking day, Stratham Hill Park, Stratham
- Blue Ocean Society cleaning our beaches, Jenness State Beach, Rye
- Habitat for Humanity build a home for a military couple and their family, Dover
